Remedies For Sinus

any ideas on home remedies for sinus congestion?

I suffer from very bad allergies. Now I have a cold on top of that. My breasts are very bad state, to the point of being swollen. I have tried over the counter mucus relief tablets but not doing much. I think I'm in the boundary lines of a infection! HELP! Maybe I should have said over the counter solutions.

The only thing that really helped me was when my doctor told me about a wash breast that kill bacteria. you need distilled water sea salt liquid chlorophyll and colloidal silver in the health food store. in a glass mix 1 / 4 cup of water with a pinch of salt and heat to body temperature. add 5 drops each silver and chlorophyll and mix. using a large dropper (like drug used for children) Drop 2 Full droppersfull on one side of the nose while laying down. Turn your head and drained the other nostril. Be sure to have towels paper by hand. The silver kills the bacteria and there are several hundred kind that can live in the Sinus Cavities, antibiotics to combat not get rid of them all. Do this twice daily for one week, stirring the mixture fresh each time. So once a week for maintenance. There is nothing in this that will hurt you, and cured me. I I have to take Claritin, or antibiotics. best wishes

Home Remedies For Sinus Relief And Tips

Pain and associated pressure and involving the medically termed maxillary area or, simply, the cheeks, resulting in a mixture of pain and pressure are referenced as maxillary sinusitis. Frontal sinusitis creates its associated pain and pressure within the frontal sinus cavity, which is located behind and above the eyes of the affected.

Then, with your face over the sink, insert the end of the bulb into one nostril and squeeze the bulb. Saltwater will rush up through your sinus cavity and out your nose, washing out mucus. Repeat with the other side and repeat again, until the wash comes out clean.

Where the vertex of the head is affected, its pain and pressure significantly is in the areas that are both between, as well as behind the eyes. The determination, as to the symptoms of the type of sinus infection involved, can aid in the suffering individual's choice among home remedies for Sinus Infections.

Tips for Sinus Relief: -

*The body requires plenty of liquids, to increase its moisture levels, and rest and relaxation. Drink a lot of fluids, such as water, vitamin-rich fruit drinks etc.
*Try some honey (a natural antiseptic) and lemon (a natural source of Vitamin C) dissolved in hot water or herbal and fruit tea as an alternative to normal tea.
*Avoid drinks that contain caffeine, such as, coffee, tea, cola and other fizzy drinks as these are diuretics, which could cause further dehydration.
* Eat healthy food, such as fruits and vegetables.
*Chicken soup is believed to be a good food for colds - it relieves infections of the upper respiratory tract.
*Keep the room temperature comfortably warm and open the bedroom window a little so fresh air can circulate.
*Humidity may help ease cough and congestion. A vaporizer can be used to bring some relief or better still, place a bowl of water near the radiator in your bedroom.
*Get as much rest as you can. If you are well enough to go into work, make sure you have early nights.
Sinus infections can also be treated by some home remedies. A lot of relief can be obtained by inhaling steam from a vaporizer or a bowl of hot water.
* Applying a hot or a cold compress over the inflamed area would also provide relief.
*A decoction of mustard seed powder and water, instilled in the nostrils; eating jalapeno peppers; drinking juice of ripe grapes; applying a paste of cinnamon and water on the forehead; applying paste of ginger and water/milk on the forehead; applying paste of basil leaves, cloves, and dried ginger on the forehead; inhaling steam of eucalyptus oil; and drinking warm tea are all found to be effective in providing some relief.
*Drinking a lot of water and other fluids would also help.
*Low humidity can irritate sinuses and increase sinus congestion. Using warm or cool-mist humidifiers will increase the moisture content of the air, break up congestion and make breathing easier. Inhaling steam can also relieve congestion.
