Optic Migraine
Optic Migraine
Why the bright lights keep giving me a headache? and my eyes hurt ..?I had astigmatism, but never like this. My eyes avoid bright lights therefore gives me migraine ... I can not even say that is giving me more pain. Anyway, I had a doctor looked optical .. and he said that my lenses have a bad astigmatism in my right eye. Meaning .. although the amount was correct, the lens position is not. Anyway, I had resolved now .. after using for over a year. But now I'm still feeling pain in the eye when things start to shine .. and my migraine eventuallty begin ... it hurts so much sometimes you may feel a sensation in the top of my head ... I worry that perhaps brain damage or something .. I heard a broken nerve the brain can do that ... Any opinions?
About 30% of migraines cause visual disturbances light and sound sensitivity about 30 minutes before headache begins. So the headache is causing the eye problem, not the other way around. Consult your family doctor, there are medications to help to migraine.
