I took the carazette for 8 weeks used and more bleeding but have big or migraines, also had bad skin, which was not before. I have 48 but not perimenopausal .....
You should have been warned that it may suffer dysfunctional (erratic) uterine bleeding 13 to 26 weeks in Cerazette. (As with all mini-pill). This is usually a temporary problem and after 6 months a growing number of women who stop in every period mini pill, 70% in one year. I am not convinced that the deterioration of the skin will be resolved however. You're a little temporary challenge of combined OC use, and not make much sense to try other mini pills, so your options are limited. Contraceptive choices down and then maybe the Mirena coil, which only may also decrease your menstrual headaches, without altering your skin, and vasectomy. (The best form of sterilization!)
