I'm 4 months pregnant and lately I've been having really bad headaches. Sometimes it'll be just a dull ache, then suddenly in one area of my head it'll really hurt like I just got hit in the head or something. I heard that you can't take tylenol while pregnant, is that true? I haven't been taking anything but today it got so bad I put some HeadOn headache relief on my forehead and the back of my neck. But apparently I am going to start having a reaction to that because everywhere that I've put it my skin has turned bright red and so far, hasn't gone away yet. Any help would be appreciated.
Its normal-you can take Tylenol. Did you ask your OB if you can use HeadOn!? I hope so!
I haven't tried this-but in one of my pregnancy books a tip was to put a hot water bottle on your feet. This will cause the blood vessels in your feet to dilate, drawing the blood toward your feet and away from your head. Let me know how it works!!
