I am kinda getting this bad headache on top of my head, especially starts when ready for travel (train/bus/car). Then, during travel, I get this puking sensation and finally ends up vomiting. Tried the lemon trick but it just does not work. Is there any remedy. I've got a 10-hr bus tour tonight and this headache is getting out of limits. Please help...
The nausea indicates your headache is likely a migraine. There are good treatments such as Imitrex and Relpax but you need a prescription. If you don't have a prescription on hand, about the best you can do for now is walk into your urgent care facility and get treatment ... it would be nice if you had insurance to pay for it of course. If it's after hours for urgent care your only other option is the emergency room which is going to cost you almost no matter what your insurance is these days since you are not going to be admitted to the hospital for migraine.
Drinking a lot of water and taking ginger might be a tiny bit better than doing nothing at all, but you can pretty much bet they aren't going to cure your headache. If you're lucky, the ginger might take a slight edge off the nausea. It's not the right solution. You need to see a physician.
