Chronic Sinusitis Treatment
Chronic Sinusitis Treatment
Siniusitis chronic ... anyone had surgery for it?Has anyone had surgery for chronic sinusitis? If so, what were the results? Did it help? I've heard people who have had no improvement after. Has anyone tried other treatments that have worked?
yes. 3 years ago I had septoplasty. I had chronic sinusitis / post nasal drip too. doc told me I had a deviated septum and swollen turbinates. felt that perhaps the cause of the problem. underwent surgery. stopped receiving severe colds 4 times a year and could breathe better on the side where the wall was diverted more, but otherwise, did not stop infection. Finally I did my own reseach. went to a new document a few months ago. told me that surgery almost never works and in some cases can make things worse! Well, I knew ddn't work for me. said there is a theory that chronic sinusitis can be caused by an overgrowth yeast (Candida albicans) in the body. put me on a yeast and sugar free diet. I started it and did my own reasearch. found that a lot of people in the same boat. almost no output doc does not know how to cure chronic Sinus Infections. that keep giving antibiotics, but it works for a while but may return worse. bottom line - it worked! I also use grapefruit seed extract (GSE) to kill the yeast in the body. is a natural anti-fungal and antibiotics. There is a spray Xlear nasal call (GSE has in it.) got in on the shop thevitamin. clarified my post nasal dripin DAY! no joke. u can use any brand of GSE nasal spray And you can help. I also take other antifungals such as caprylic acid and oregano oil. I'm not saying you have to go on the diet, but at least try the nasal spray. Google online. seems to help many people. All I know is, after years of suffering, this is the only this that has helped me. most documents will not do natural medicine, but I am so lucky it did mine. if Chronis sinus infection is the only problem try a spray IGE nasal b / f to do the surgery. can save time and $. Also, the Mayo Clinic did a study saying that all chronic sinus infections are probably caused by fungi. Here's the link: curezone.com http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/1999/09/990910080344.htm also has some good advice. certainly I tried the netipot, which clarifies the nasal passages with salt water. I also tested medication that is supposed to thin the mucus, but nothing worked. good luck!
